weekend

this weekend was all about being together, cooking in the kitchen, and a little more: lindsey and i went to dinner on friday night, then we drank decaf lattes. she bought the baby some super cute onsies...keep you posted on what it is!!! saturday we hung out, ran errands, watched the broncos lose (shitty), and made homemade chicken tortilla soup. lee was the brains of the operation and it turned out delish. yesterday we took the dogs running. only nacho and lola, way too cold for little man poe.

and last night was the golden globes and girls. awesome night. lena dunham won 2x for girls--so happy about that. and i'm really happy that ben affleck won for argo. the best part was the two ladies that hosted: tina fey and amy poehler. two of the funniest people ever. and last night they didn't disappoint. 

then we watched girls >>> it's back, baby. last night was great. i hope hannah and adam get back together and i'm excited to see jessa next week. can't believe she's married still. her and hannah are my favorites. and it wouldn't be girls if we didn't get a boob shot from ol' lena dunham. that girl is fearless :)

thusday night was our anniversary! my brother surprised us and bought us a $75 gift card to our fave place downtown, AG. best surprise. we ate like kings. i had the lemongrass teriyaki ribs with asian slaw and potstickers. lee had the bison steak that we both agreed was the best steak ever, and mashed potatoes and kale, and a few beers. ya, we chowed!

 lola's nemesis: a fake coyote that she stalks and goes after every time. it's hilarious.   

last night's dinner was serious comfort food: chicken and potato casserole. cold night + girls + comfort food.
