drinking hot chocolate + my 2013 planner.
i cannot believe 2013 is here. another year gone. i really loved 2012. i'm happy about what was accomplished, what memories were made, and where i am right now. i pray that 2013 brings as much happiness and good health as 2012 did for all of my loved ones.
i'm always big on resolutions. this time it doesn't really feel like a new year will be here until the little nugget of love arrives. but i will stick to what makes sense and list some resolutions:
1. keep moving + grooving in my pregnancy. and keep loving it! believe me, i don't take this for granted. i'm thankful for feeling healthy and motivated. maybe it will last, maybe it won't, but this far in feels gloriously blissful.
2. keep my marriage number one in my life and get ready for our biggest and best addition yet!
3. be the best mom i can be...writing that is beyond amazing and beautiful.
4. figure out why my blog is not inspiring me. i have inspiration in my real day-to-day life, but for some reason putting it on the blog is just not doing it for me. i need to analyze and meditate on this one...something needs a revamp.
5. remember if time and energy is not reciprocated, then it's not worth it. during this past year i've realized that if relationships of any kind are not respectful, kind, and willing to put in the time 50/50, then they are not as important as you thought. being around good people is a must in life. it's too short to bother with anything else.
6. cook more, become a good baker, master organization while doing this.
7. work on being ok with the unknown and being vulnerable. i like to plan, to know what to expect, even though when do you really have any control?....being pregnant has opened a whole new world of "unknowns". i like to take care of people, my husband, my furkids. not a big fan of being a person who needs/wants to be waited on. weird. like the whole patient thing that will be here-me, in a hospital bed, being poked and prodded? uh, no thank you...as you can see, this is a big resolution to work on :)
that's really all i can think of to put on my blog. lee and i have personal ones as well, but no one needs to know those.
oh ya, i wanted to tell you how 2012 went out with a bang. NYE started out with a fireball to the face from my bbq. that's right, i have singed hair and all if you look under my bangs. my eyebrows had a nice trim from it as well. you really can't tell, but i can! and our vet gave us a rough estimate of poe's possible teeth cleaning and teeth pulling...$1400.00!?!?!?! no joke. in december i saw that poe had lost 2 teeth randomly. how on earth does it make sense that our sweet chihuahua's mouth bill would cost more than having a human child...crayyyzeeeeee.
happy new year!
