EASY DOES IT

 {lee's beer on saturday afternoon}

that is the motto of the last trimester: "easy street". living life happy, easy going, and comfortable. i like living my life easy going anyway, but now is the time to really savor it and enjoy every minute before baby. lots of dates with lee, getting sleep, and educating myself on everything i need to know.

i was happy when i watched beyonce's hbo special. she admitted she wasn't one of those women who were just so happy and laid back about having a baby. she admitted she was scared shitless. thank you beyonce. i feel the same way. those people that say, who cares, you'll be fine. ugh. my doctor doesn't even talk like that. my mom doesn't either. i love having deep talks about parenting and birth and fears. this is what makes for good relationships. lee is such a good sounding board for when i repeat my worries. he's the best.

 here's the better tummy shot from the weekend. it's actually round and looks pregnant! i really like my tummy to be quite honest. i feel comfortable with it, knowing i have life inside me. i've read how some women feel a loss after their baby has arrived. at times wishing the baby was still inside them. i kinda understand that. this many months in you start to feel like the baby will be in there forever and it makes me at least feel like i can protect her and she's safe from the world. it doesn't have to make sense to anyone, just some deep thoughts for ya.

i love a good pizza. angi and i had a good one at lala's on sunday. sausage, peppers, fennel. mmmm....
