REJUVENATED + REFRESHED DUE TO ANGI!

i just had angi here and i loved every minute of it. i didn't realize how much i missed her until she was here. long overdue for serious girlfriend time. the last night she was here we talked about how natural and easy our friendship is. i think when you live with a roommate {who is also one of your best friends} for 3 years in your early 20s it bonds you for life. at least it did for angi and me.

she made it here right in time for a blizzard to come in and dump a shitload of snow on us. it was beautiful. we are both creature of habits so we had our traditions that had to happen: magazines, caramel fraps at barnes and noble, spaghetti dinner, and a couple restaurants that she loved last time.

she also was able to meet lee's bro! he came in friday and his flight was cancelled till monday due to the weather. the 4 of us enjoyed laughing at a couple movies and chatting sunday night.

i think we were the only people on sunday that went into the city due to the conditions. it didn't stop us.  :) we had brunch at mona's {good decaf latte} and then off to b&n, and shopping at forever 21 and h&m. later we had lunch at lala's.

we cooked together our last night. just me, angi, and lee. and angi introduced a new dish to us. loved it. we also had mini cheesecakes for the three of us from whole foods: berry, vanilla bean, and lemon.

you know what i love about our friendship? i love that we can talk about family, marriage, our futures and what is really going on in our lives with no holding back. we also have that comfortable feeling that we can just be ourselves. we always get teared up talking about something. i'm so happy she will be along for the ride while i gear up to become a mom. and she made me feel amazing b/c she gave me a lot of compliments on being pregnant. i'm pretty sure every woman who's preggo love hearing that ;)

after she left i felt rejuvenated and refreshed. thank you angi for the best visit!
